Hi,

I think this is a childish question, because being a part of the HR department, you have to screen the candidate. I mean you (employer or interviewer) have to judge them in terms of qualifications, behavior, communication, and education. For this, you have to make the candidate feel comfortable; it will help them to discuss things with you in a very frank manner. Questions should be like this, which make it clear about the candidate:

1. Ask the candidate about themselves, which will cover the candidate's family background, their choices, communication skills, and you can also gauge their mindset.
2. Then ask about their education profile, key result areas of their current company, or what they like most in their daily tasks, etc.
3. After 15-20 minutes, if you find them to match your desired profile, then you can negotiate the salary part.

Hope this will help you out. If you have any queries, feel free to discuss.

Thanks,
Rajni

Hi Net,

He is liable for gratuity. In my view, it comes under all org... After 4 years and 6 months, it will be considered as 5 years.

I have a doubt regarding gratuity calculation - the eligible period for gratuity is 5 years. If an employee resigns after 4 years and 7 months, is he eligible for gratuity? Please provide your suggestions.
