Dear Bhavesh,

Excellent MIS format. You can also incorporate Budget vs. Actual Personnel Cost, Training Man-hours Department-wise, and a Statutory Compliances column if required.

Hi Guys,

I am working on an essay about compensation and benefit management. I need to select an organization and investigate its successes and failures regarding the topic. I am unsure how to begin this assignment. Can you please assist?

Dear Bhavesh,

Good work done. All these details look like an extract from the Employee Master. Here are some improvement points:

Statutory compliance: The list of various statutes is shown in the format. You can also add the details of compliance, such as Registers and Returns to be maintained/sent to various authorities, periodicity, due date, etc., to make it more comprehensive.

Contractors Details: Two important aspects in the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act are getting the Registration Certificate by the Principal Employer and obtaining a license by the contractor. Hence, we can also include the License number and the validity period. We can also categorize licensed contractors (those who engage more than 20) and unlicensed contractors. In case of ESI notified areas, we can have the ESI code instead of WC details.

In the Accident details, we can also capture the number of mandays lost due to each accident.

We can also add Absenteeism, Employee Cost of Regular Manpower, and Flexi staff in the MIS Report.

Various Employee Related costs, such as Recruitment Cost, Training Cost, Transport, Canteen, Telephone, etc., which are managed by HR/Personnel, may also be part of HR MIS Reports.

Once again, my sincere appreciation for your efforts.

Dear Bhavesh,

This is a good format and needs some changes which are not required or may need some additional information as per company requirements. Thanks for this information, and our HR team will take good advantage of it as per their needs.

Can you please help me out to find a job in Ahmedabad? I am looking to make a change (this request is made as we are friends, if you don't mind). I have a background in generalist HR roles, focusing on HR operations and reporting. I am attaching my profile here for your reference.

Good luck.
