Hi, out of all the suggestions, I can suggest how to start this session on Active Listening. Try playing this game with the group. Pick one person randomly and tell them a word, for example, "Umbrella." Now, they have to describe it to others using code language:
- They can use only alphabets with direction
- Geometrical figures with positions
Let the team scribble whatever they can interpret and then declare the winner as the one who could draw the figure. Try this out:
1. Make the concave semi-circle
2. Join the two ends with multiple semi-circles of a small radius
3. With the centermost small semi-circle, drop an alphabet 'j'
4. On the top of the big semicircle, place a cone
This will surely trigger their minds and ears to focus on the objective of the lecture.
