Dear Seniors,
Greetings for the day!
I am working in a small-scale organization. Here, I joined as an executive in recruitment and was later promoted to Assistant Manager HR. However, due to some problems, I resigned from my job. The problems were because of my profile as well as colleagues. I know such peer problems are everywhere, but it was reflecting like I am the only culprit, not others. My profile was changed earlier also. When I joined the organization, I worked with motivation because of appreciation, but later on, I couldn't continue it because of such things. That's why I resigned through mail to the Managing Director, in (cc all directors). Today, the Managing Director asked me about my decision. I wanted to stay but with my own profile and status. Even the Managing Director said I should think and tell my decision. After that, within half an hour, he called me along with HR people; all directors were there. The Managing Director said she has resigned because of profile and colleague problems. During this discussion, it is reflected that management is not that much happy with me or like that. They were saying that it's my fault that I am having problems with others, not directly but they said such things which I can't understand what they value or think of mine. There is one director whom I respect a lot. He is very straightforward, experienced, and old. But I found many times nowadays that he is having some problems with me. I don't know why. I really respect him, but today his reactions and comments hurt me a lot. Also, when the Managing Director was talking with me before this meeting, he said if you want to continue you can, I don't want you to be leaving. That's up to me that you should get a proper profile and respect. But the meeting with all was very different. I can't understand what is reality? I'm not understanding whether I am wrong. How should one respond to organizational politics? Which things should I consider to develop myself against such situations? How should I analyze myself?
Hope I will get guidance from all seniors.

Your message is not very clear about the kind of problems you have or what you could gather and understand after meeting with all.
It all depends on how you manage people and bosses at work. Peer problems and office politics are very common. What really matters is your own personality and behavior.
If you feel that this job does not match your aspirations in terms of job profile, job satisfaction, or money, look for another job and leave this organization in a decent manner. One should never leave an organization with a bad taste.
Good luck!

Thank you, sir.
I don't want to leave the organization because I don't have that much experience. But here, there is no professional atmosphere. I can't understand what management is thinking about me. Anyway, I want to progress in my career. But these things are disturbing me. Sir, I want to learn. Which decision should I take? Should I forget everything and start fresh here, or should I look for opportunities elsewhere? If I continue for now and gain experience, should I leave with good relations later? Can I work in a situation where the directors have a negative perception of me?
As I informed other colleagues that I won't be coming from tomorrow, how should I face them if I decide to continue?
My questions may seem naive, but they are on my mind. I hope I am not taking up too much of your time or that of other seniors.
Thank you.

Dear Awanti,
Such incidents happen everywhere; maybe it's a great sign for your development. The world is too big to understand. Organizations where emotions have the least importance could be quit, as they are more focused on the job and not the person. I am sure you will find some good people to work with, where your skills could be explored, and ideas may work out.
Exercise yourself and restart from where you stopped. Let it be this or any other organization. Do what you feel is best.
Regards, Uddhav.
