Hi,
I have been made to sign a plain paper letter stating that never in my life will I join or give consultancy to any company in the same product lines that I have developed during my employment with this 'company A', nor will I approach any of its customers and agents.
For 5 years, I have been employed in different industrial segments, so it was okay. But now, after 5 years, I applied for a job (since I was unemployed) and the company selected me, but it had the same product line as 'company A'. Based on my undertaking, can I be liable for breach of undertaking?
