Hi all,

Please help me in getting information on the standard leave policy structure in an IT company in Chennai. I would like to have the breakdown of the number of leaves in Casual Leave, Earned (Privilege) Leave, and Sick Leave.

Thanks

Hi,

I wish I could put down some points, but I'm from the BPO segment. Hence, I'd request you to visit the "COMPENSATION & BENEFITS" segment/folder on this site. Here, a member called "skg" has posted a similar request and has received a lot of replies. I guess this will help you. Let me know.

EG: from the reply SKG has got: Most companies follow the same leave policy. I don't think there is a special rule/act that is laid down for an IT company regarding leaves. So, 1/2 day casual and 1/2 sick leave can be given for each completed month. Also, 15 PL for every completed year of work. There are more views from Phanish; please go through them. If not, let me know, and I will send it if you are still unable to find it.

Hi All,

Please help me in getting information on the standard leave policy structure in a courier company in Delhi. I would like to have the breakdown of the number of leaves in Casual Leave, Earned (Privilege) Leave, and Sick Leave.

We will provide 43 leaves per annum as SL/CL/AL/PH...want to know about the Special Leave:
- Maternity and Miscarriage Leave
- Paternity Leave
- Leave Without Pay
- Short Leave

Also, please confirm how many leaves we will be able to avail after the probation period. If confirmation is done in October.

Regards,
