Some duties and responsiblites are prescribe under factory act 1948. that are.
1) to Act as a negotiating officer.
2) To shape and formulate labour olice
3) to estab contact.
4)to deal with wages and employment.
5)To prevent from anti social activites.
6)to bring about peacefull settlement.
7)to comply with provision of factory.
8)to promote relation between teh factory and warers .
9)to encourage formation of committes.
10)to secute provision of aminites.
11) To help factory managment in regulation Leave.
To) to secure welfare provisions.
13) To advice factory managmetn.
These some are prescribed duties of Labour welfare officer.

As we all know that we are to appoint Welfare Officer(s) as per the requirement of section 49 of the Factories Act but as far as the duties, qualification & conditions of service of the officers are concerned we have to go through the applicable State Rules.

I have done PGDM in Human Resource,and now i am working as a welfare officer in a garment export last 1 year co. in Noida.
Please tell me that my 1 year is wastage of time bcos i am not MSW. I am so worried about my future pls give me the suggestion.
