The career decisions are to be handled with due sensitivity. Just two days after joining if someone approaches HR and starts telling him/her that he/she would like to quit the company, then what HR is supposed to do? On the abandonment of employment, HR will not just mark you absent but you could be sent a legal notice for not paying the notice period pay. Are you financially strong enough to pay or fight the legal case?
Well, gentleman, I recommend you reconcile with the situation. What exactly happened that made you think of separation from an organisation that is a prominent national brand? Remove the negative thoughts from your mind. If you have received another offer, then ignore it.
While taking a decision, find out if there will be long-term implications. Unwise haste sometimes proves to be costly.
