Seeking Help: How to Define Job Descriptions for Key Roles in Engineering?

Dear Sir,

I am working in an Engineering Establishment and producing capital machinery. I would like to have Job Descriptions/Key Result Areas (KRAs) for the following positions:

1. Project Manager
2. QA Manager
3. Supply Chain Manager
4. Supply Chain Engineer

To design the Job Description (JD) of the position, you need to understand the entire workings of the department. You need to grasp the systems and processes of the department. Moving on to individual positions, you also need to understand the contributions of each person to the department.

Designing Key Result Areas (KRAs)

Regarding the design of Key Result Areas (KRAs), it is a higher-order activity. You must measure the output of this position in terms of quality, customer service, cost, delivery, etc.

Designing JDs or KRAs is not a novice's job; it requires a lot of maturity. Members might provide JDs or KRAs from their companies. However, will these be applicable to your company?
