Pl. refer Industrial Employment (National & Festival Holidays) Act for paid holidays. As per this act 4 national holidays i.e. 26th Jan, 1st May, 15th Aug & 2nd Oct and 5 other holidays are mandatory to be given to the employees.

First examine under which of the Act you are required to grant these holidays & then go through that Act to know the number of National & Festival holidays to be granted to the employees.
