Please do not issue any appointment letter to the Contract Labour. It should be issued by the Contractor and not the Principal employer.

The Employment Card (Form XIV) to be issued by the contractors to the workmen engaged by them and not the Principal employer. That's the reason I gave the reply not to issue any appointment letter.

I do not have any objection on your opinion. As the member is requiring this format on behalf the contractor & only for his reference I have given my opinion.Employment Card form No. may differ from state to state if appropriate Govt. is the state Govt.
