I have been in the same industry for the past 7 years, and the attrition rate here is very high, ranging from engineers to housekeepers. Salary in line with the market, compliance and benefits, motivation, promotion, responsibilities, recognition, and of course, support, control, and cooperation from the reporting boss all contribute to employee retention.

Thank you.

Dear Mrunal,

I am from the same industry and have been for the past 7 years. The attrition here is very high, from engineers to housekeepers. Salary as per market, compliances and benefits, motivation, promotion, responsibilities, recognitions, and of course support, control, and cooperation from the reporting boss help to retain.

Thanks, Yaasmin, for replying to me. I have recently joined this company and am working on a project to control the attrition rate. They have asked me to conduct a survey on the same and find out the causes and ways to control attrition. I need help preparing a questionnaire for the same. It would be grateful if you could guide me on this.

Thanks & Regards,
Mrunal

To control the attrition rate in any industry, it is essential to provide proper motivation to employees. Establishing the right rules with clients will also help our employees maintain their standards and self-esteem. Highly motivated employees are less likely to leave the company or the industry.

I would like to add that the Facility Manager (FM) should have the capability to handle pressure at the site, and his attitude should not affect his team.
