HR Policies - Hr Processes

Hi Everybody,
I am process of forming HR policies for a IT company that has been recently started.
Can anybody suggest how shall I go about doing the same???

normally a company has many policies, starting from dress code policy to sexual harrasment policy.. can startup with this.

Dear Prajakta
Start with an Human Resource Manual. The manual shall contain atleast following information:
1. Working hours per week
2. Working style - work from home/shift timings etc.
3. Leaves - causal/sick/earned leaves.
4. Appraisal System including career progression, sucession planning
5. Organisational Structure
6. Orientation
7. Who's who in the company
8. All formats required to be filled
9. Reimbursement details.
10.Travel directives, entitlement.
Get it peer reviewed and then present the same to the strategic management for vetting and approval.
Once this is done then deal with statutory requirements including medical/PF/IT etc.

Sharing of policies or any confidential information of any company without any approval is illegal in Cite.co..
Nevertheless, you can search using the google toolbar and I am sureyou will get poicies of indian companies.
