Is It Mandatory to Offer Sick Leave Under the Shop and Establishment Act?

I want to know, is it mandatory to grant Sick Leave under the "Shop and Establishment Act" in a company?
For example, if a company only provides 25 Planned Leaves and no Sick leave, is it valid? Please do let me know.

Dear Vicky, this is to inform you that the 'Shops & Establishment Act' is a State Act. Therefore, first, determine under which of the applicable State Shops Acts you want to understand the applicability of sick leaves. Then, review the sick leave provision in that specific Act. If the provision exists, you are required to provide sick leave to eligible employees.

The company is registered under the "Bombay Shop and Establishment 1948" Act. Will you be able to let me know if employees are eligible for Sick Leave?

Section 35 relates to the grant of leaves under this Act, but sick and casual leaves are not specified anywhere under this Act.
