National & Festival Holidays are granted under either of these two Acts i.e. State Shops & Establishment Act or the State Industrial Establishment ( National & Festival and Casual & Sick Leaves) Act. Both these Acts are State Act. Decide which of the Act is applicable in your case & then go through for this provision of National & Festival Holidays. Regards, R.N.Khola

On which Act in Gujarat The Factories has to pay 8 days(Out of 8 there are 3 national holidays i.e. 26 Jan, 15 Aug. & 2 Oct) mandatory paid Holiday in a calendar year. Please guide to us.
