Dear Ashok,

In that case, he will be entitled to casual and sick leaves as per the State Industrial Establishment (National & Festival Holidays & Casual & Sick Leaves) Act. He will receive these leaves if he is covered under the definition of a worker/employee under this Act; otherwise, he will be granted these leaves according to the leave policy of the unit where he is employed. This opinion is provided considering the unit's coverage under the Factories Act, 1948.

Leave Types and Details

Leaves are as follows:
- Casual Leave (It can be in hours as well)
- Annual Leave / Earned Leave (Based on last year's attendance, for every 20 days or 16 days, 1 paid leave)
- Medical Leave
