In short for Contract Labour Plz refer Book "Law relating to Contract Labour" written by Alok Bhasin and published by Eastern Book Company.
This book is availibale in two volume consisting bare act, rules, state ammendments, forms, format of challan & returns under Contract Labour ( R&A) Act-1970.

My query is that if no of contract labour doesnt exceed 20 even after including all contractors labours etc. then what will Principal Employer do under Contract Labour (R&A) Act.

Dear Kapil Dev singh,
Then in that case the employer is nothing to do under the Contract labour (R&A) Act. Moreover I would like to add one thing here that if the work which is being performed through contract labour if prohibited by the appropriate Govt. by notification in the official gazette then you are not to engage the contract labour on that particular work.

Dear All,
I want to know the ratio of contract labour engagement in any manufacturing unit in
Haryana. In which ratio or proportion we can engage contract labour in the organistion as compare to permanent labour. Contract labour act is define only the prohibition of contract labour in any organisation but not define the engagement ratio in the manufacturing unit. Haryana labour policy is also not clear about this. If there is a provision so please provide the references also.
I have required this information urgently please help me.
