Salary Breakup With Allowances

Hi
I have one query about this...
These are several allowances...howwever in case we have so many allowances does not ESI go up since it is calculated on gross salary ie (BASIC HRA + ALLOWances)
or have i got it wrong?

Can you please provide me the definition of Special Allowance and Personal allowance. as per salary breakup from my co. they give me Personal Allowanc and Special Allwoance.

We are a startup & i need urgent help in designing salary structure of an employee with 8lpa salary. Basic (40% + HRA & allowances like Office attire, vehicle fuel, telephone & Internet. What is the maximum amount we can give for office attire?
