Hi dear members,

I am supposed to be preparing an organizational chart and I am almost done but wanted to know the importance of the chart. Is it important in a smaller company like ours with 20 employees? Looking forward to your response.

Dear Sandy,

An organizational chart is a base for almost every company or organization, regardless of its size and number of employees. It helps differentiate the departments and positions and establishes a proper reporting structure as well.

I believe I have addressed your query, correct?

It depends on the size, number of employees, and hierarchy of your organization. Make a simple chart, don't make it complicated. First, create a map outlining the communication levels and reporting structure. Then, list all the departments and individuals within the organization. Finally, arrange them in a proper hierarchical format.
