I started working in 2016 and joined the EPF account there. At that time, in my first company, my basic salary was 10k, so technically I became an EPS member. Then, I switched three companies, and my wages increased. I tried to transfer the PF amount, so for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd companies, it was done. However, for my previous company, it is not getting transferred, and it shows this message: "EPF wages more than 15k, not an EPS member."

My previous employer is saying he deducted it because all previous ones were deducting. When I raised a grievance, they asked me to submit a clarification as to why I should be an EPS member.

I am confused now about what to do; nobody seems to be able to help. Please help me with a solution.
