Hi Team, In my organization, there are two employees working in different departments. His name is 'X', and her name is 'Y'. There is another person called 'Z' (he is not working in my organization) who is Mr. X's best friend. Ms. Y and Z have been in a relationship for more than 2 years, and due to some personal reasons, they both got separated.
As mentioned earlier, Mr. Z and Mr. X are best friends. Now, Mr. X is spreading rumors in the office about Ms. Y. Ms. Y is totally upset, and sometimes, she argues with her fellow colleagues about those rumors.
Please suggest to me how to take this issue forward.

Dear Ganesh,
This issue is related to the lack of a business etiquette culture in the company. Organize the business etiquette training program and instruct the trainer to focus on not discussing personal matters in the office. Gossiping in the office is always detrimental.
Challenges faced by employees
Employees face numerous challenges at home. Not all homes have harmonious relationships among family members. Given this background, an employee may feel compelled to share domestic matters in the office to alleviate stress. However, listeners should maintain discreet silence and refrain from spreading such information widely.
Office romance
Additionally, the training should address the topic of office romance. When individuals of the opposite sex work closely together, there is a possibility of romantic feelings emerging. Nevertheless, it is essential for the individuals involved to exercise prudence and avoid displaying affection in the office.
Significance of time
Lastly, the training should emphasize the significance of time. Employees are compensated for their work and the hours spent in the office. Therefore, every minute is valuable to the company. Casual chatter or gossiping should not occur during working hours.
Thanks,
