Dear Colleague,
There was a proposal by ESIC to upward raise of ceiling from 21K to 30K few years back. But no much further news is updated on this in the light of new set of Labour Codes were framed and focus was given for implementing the new labour code. The Proposed Code on Social Security is pending for implementation and probably post implementing the Social Security Code there may be review of the wage ceiling. As of now it is not a sure move.
