Hello,
We are starting a small software development company and are currently in the process of recruiting new employees. As part of our leave policy, we need to define PL (Paid Leave), CL (Casual Leave), SL (Sick Leave), and Maternity leave. Our company is based in Kolkata, West Bengal. We are aware that some major software companies do not offer CL.
We are seeking guidance on whether there are specific laws and regulations we must adhere to when defining our leave policy, or if we have the flexibility to establish our own policies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
