Hiring Temporary Employees for Equipment Repair Services

A new consulting company registered in West Bengal wants to hire employees to provide equipment repair services at the client's location from time to time (the client is a manufacturing industry). PF and ESI Registration Requirements

If the consulting company already has PF and ESI registration, then the problem is less. Otherwise, the company has to obtain a voluntary PF & ESI Code through the respective online service.

Labor License and Legal Requirements

As the number of employees is less than 10, no labor license is required.

Applicable Labor Laws

Since the employees will work in a manufacturing unit, the Factories Act and Rules will be applicable to them. In addition, Minimum Wages, Payment of Wages, Bonus, and Gratuity will also be applicable.
