Dear Sir/Madam, Can anyone please suggest whether we can employ a person with 77 years of age and keep him under payroll? What are the statutory implications like PF, ESI? Thank You

You can employ him, check whether he remained a member of EPFO , if so continue the membership. But if the wages being paid to him are above the statutory limit there is no need to comply with PF & ESI. In case of continuation in PF Scheme, the entire contribution will go to PF and there is no Pension Scheme contribution to be remitted.
