The Rules for the Industrial Relations Code are a new set of rules that would replace the current rules with a single set of rules for all employers. The rules would also include provisions for an independent workplace ombudsman. The proposed rules will be introduced to Cabinet on May 7, and a public consultation period is scheduled to end July 6, 2019.
