Hi All! Need clarification on how PF works in case of the deduction is the payable day due to Loss of Pay, Employee joining mid-month OR Leaves in mid-month.
The employees Basic is 40,000/- however PF is restricted to 15,000/- . Let's consider the payable day for 15 Days-
In this case, the Basic will be 20,000/ now, should PF still need to be deducted at 15000/- or on reduced Basic according to payable days i.e 7500/-.
