Dear Prakash-B, Answer is : No. POB Act is not applicable to those who are having salary more than 21000/- p.m.

when it called statutory bonus, then only eligibility will be as per rules but if you are talking bonus,Ex-Gratia or any other word , then you may process as per your company policy.
Because statutory means ( वैधानिक, कानूनी) , So as per statutory only those will eligible who are matching the rules.

NO.. as per The Payment of Bonus Act (ammendment), 1965 , Only Employees are entitled for Bonus whose Monthly Basic + DA <21,000 .

@Mr.Bhartiya,
i hope you had not seen my answer. i am simple saying that statutory bonus is mandatory to up to the statutory limit i.e Rs.21000/-. so there is no any meaning for this post " the answer given by me is most appropriate one.". So after Rs.21000/- will not count as statutory bonus and many company even doing this. they are giving this as ex-gratia or in other way.
still i am clear when its matter of statutory bonus then statutory means eligibility as per rules.
