Hope you are all doing well. Can compensatory time off be taken before the day the worker is actually scheduled to work (such as on a weekly holiday or public holiday)? Kindly confirm and share the provisions.

I cannot appreciate your query. What is the meaning of compensatory off? It is time off to be taken by an employee as a result of working in a company on a holiday. Therefore, it is natural that an employee can avail compensatory off for any working day only after working in the company on a weekly off day or any festival/national holiday.
