Dear All, I am fresher and Just joined in the Apparel Industry. My employer has assigned me the task of ensuring the health and safety of the employees. Kindly guide me how to go about it. Thanks in advance.

Dear colleague,
You need to comply with health and safety provisions under the Factories Act and State rules as a first step.
Then undertake safety and health awareness programme by putting appropriate picture posters and safe working procedures at important locations in the work place
Conduct suitable training programmes by experts in the field.
Have periodical medical check up done of all workers .
Maintain shop floor cleanliness , proper walkways free from obstacles.
The above are random thoughts and you could build on it further.
