Hii
I am currently working in a PSU(joined recently) and before joining I had applied for an other government organization .Now in next few days the exam is there.
For the written exam they are asking for NOC but during application filling i had filled my employment status as NO.
My current employer is denying me NOC.
So as i have given my employment status NO can i continue with that only
That is
If i get selected there and resign the present company, will there be any problem as Im not disclosing my previous employers details?
Thank you.

The simple facts discernible from the anonymous post are these -
(1) Just before joining the present PSU very recently, the poster had applied for a post in another Govt. organization and presumably he was unemployed then.
(2) During the subsequent stage of recruitment i.e., while appearing for a written examination the poster is required to furnish an NOC by the prospective employer if he is employed elsewhere as of now.
(3) When the poster honestly approached for an NOC, the present employer refused to give it.
(4) Since the written examination for the applied job is fast-approaching and he was not able to get an NOC from the present employer, probably the poster intends to maintain his earlier unemployed status to continue his participation in the recruitment process.
Hence the questions.
I think that he cannot do so for the simple reason that it would tantamount to dishonestly suppressing the fact of his current employment status so far as the prospective employer is concerned.
There is no mention in the post why his request for an NOC was refused by the present employer.
Similarly, he has not mentioned whether he has executed any employment bond.
If he proceeds further like the way he hinted in his post, in case of his being successful in the final recruitment process, the present employer may delay his formal relief on the ground of notice clause on unilateral termination of the contract of employment or the prospective employer may resort to cancellation of his very candidature on the ground of suppression of fact.
The post is also silent about the comparative better benefits of the prospective job.
If he is very confident about his final selection, he can formally resign his present job in the PSU forthwith before participating in the written examination for the prospective job.
But, he should remember that a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush!
