Can a company terminate/Discontinue the services of an employee who is under probation without stating a reason?

If there is such a clause in the contract of employment or the standing orders, the employer can simply discharge a probationer without assigning any reason.

Yes, company can terminate the employment contract without pay if such clause is mentioned in their Appointment letter.
