Dear all,

Please post your valuable points regarding this situation: A member nominated his first wife for a pension before his death, but she died before him. After that, the member got married again and died, leaving behind his second wife and four children (two from each wife). However, he could not change the old nomination, which favored his first wife.

I have advised the member's second wife to obtain a legal heir certificate for the pension claim and to invalidate the old nomination. Please let me know if I am following the correct process.

Hi, Yes. Legal Heir certificate is very much required indicating the nominees name. She need to fill and submit Pension forms and Bank details.
