Hi all,
Please help me out to understand how to calculate leave balance if the attendance cycle is from 22nd of a month to 23rd of the month is it 1 leav ebefore 15 of the month and 1 after the 15th of the month.........is that so so someone taking aleave after the 15 should be considered in next months salary

HI Aradhana,
if your salary cycle is e.g. from 22-10 to 21-11( It will never be 23rd of next month) and person has taken leave on 15-11 his/ser salary will be deducted in the month of november salary disbursement provided
1. He has no leaves balance( any of- Sick Leave/ Casual Leave etc.
2. He is in the probation period.
I am sure the salary disbursement will be done before 7th or 10th of Dec. for the month of November which is calculated for 22-10 to 21-11.
Hope things are clear. Also find attached Attendance sheet which you will have to alter based on your leave policy as i have put few formulae into it.
Pl feel free to contact me on any clarification required.

will u plz tel me that how to calculate leaves if some one has taken 7 days leave in a month and there is only 18 days leave permitted to take in one whole year???
will it be calculated as leave without pay
