Calculating Total Annual Leave
To calculate the total annual leave and determine whether an employee has surplus or deficit days, one can use a formula. Typically, annual leave is calculated based on the number of days in a month (28, 30, or 31) multiplied by a factor like 2.5. By applying this formula and comparing the result to the required annual leave entitlement, one can ascertain if the employee has exceeded the allotted days or is eligible for additional leave.
