What are the key factors to observe as an HR at the time of the interview for staff recruitment? And how?
Any useful suggestion is appreciated.

Dear Colleague,
An interview is two way traffic.
You have to project brand image of the company by sharing relevant info to the candidate, his role responsibilities, and encourage him to ask questions and answer every question candidly .
Make him feel important and start the interview at the scheduled time.
Listen more than talk. Look for what is unsaid than said and don't get carried away by face value.

Look for candidate with required skill sets and experience.
Background check is important.
Personality and referference feed back required for the given post be checked and
evaluated.
Have focus on hiring a candidate for long term association and amicability and empathy.

Simply stating, look for 1) attitude 2)ability(skills) and 3) integrity.
