I recently joined a company where I deposited my original experience letter, and I am currently in the training period. Now, I have received another better offer.

How can I obtain my relieving letter from the newly joined company? Additionally, what is the notice period during the training period? If it is not possible to obtain the relieving letter, what are my options now?

Dear Suresh, generally, there is no notice required to be given if you wish to leave during the training period, unless specified in the training letter issued to you, if any. Please clarify with your current HR. It is good ethics to honor the commitment you made to your current company when you joined in training.

However, if the new offer is much better and you do have to leave, offer to reimburse any costs incurred by your current company for your training. Be positive, ethical, and have a heart-to-heart discussion with your HR.

Wish you all the best.
