Dear All,

I have been working in a typical government organization with a Pan India presence, where bringing changes in the systems and processes is quite challenging. We have been receiving grievances from our serving as well as retired employees for non-settlement of their dues on time, anomalies in pay fixation, and discrepancies in preferences given to technical and non-technical cadres, etc.

We have been adopting several mechanisms to address these issues by developing SOPs, making amendments to policies, providing training, and streamlining processes by working in SAP.

In such a scenario, to enhance the motivation and performance of the employees, I kindly request suggestions for best practices and processes for organizational development that can be practiced or adopted by the HR department.

Thank you.

Hi,

I suggest introducing on-the-spot awards for performing employees to boost their morale in front of everybody. Additionally, the first fifteen minutes of the day should begin with either a jokes/laughter session or meditation so teams can feel relaxed throughout the day.

Thanks and Regards,
