If more number of ESIC leave falls in 2nd benefit period which daily rate will be considered for cash benefit?

The maternity benefit rate is 100% of the average daily wages for the period of absence (on leave). The last drawn wages are considered for calculation as it is expected that the employee could have been earning the same if she hadn't taken the benefit of maternity.
