Basic and DA percentage - any method to reduce the calculation?

Can anyone guide me how to calculate the Basic and DA in order to reduce the PF contribution to employees. Currently in our concern it is Basic = 45% and DA= 35%. Is there any method to reduce the calculation?

Hi Divya,
Is Basic 45% on gross and DA 35%? If yes then why do you want to reduce them and subsequently the PF amount?
As per EPFO both have to be considered for contributions.
And you cannot play around with the Social Security Legislation like EPF,ESI.
