Dear All, I am HR Professional in private company. We are shifting our office in new building within next 2 months.... I want to introduce new ideas being HR for more happy environment.
we celebrate birthdays, announce Employee of the month, send bouquets to employee's family on anniversary, celebrate diwali, holi... but what could I do NEW in office...
please guide.... any new thing, policy, ideas etc..

The measures that you have mentioned to engage your employees are hygienic factors. Have you introduced intrinsic factors that are concomitant to hygienic factors?
For the top performers of the company, you may give them subscription of the physical or online library. Subscription can be of magazines or periodicals related to business also. This type of subscription will help improve employees' knowledge base which in turn help improve their intellectual contribution.

you can start with funny monday or and weekend theme or change dress codes. also invite guitarist in the office on birthday or marriage anniversary. arrange movie show on special day.

The best idea is you can introduce, Friday or Saturday as Freeday, inform them to come in casual dress. As its a freeday, they can play games like carroms, table tennis, tambola, and anthakshari. You can also introduce a hobbyday - singing, dancing, mimic and more as per their original interest.
Gift the winners and participants. Which can really boost them and have fun on weekends with family too.
