Hi,

Can anyone tell me which compliance a HR should remember like the back of their hand or should have good practical knowledge of? I mean to say, which aspects are very compulsory to have knowledge of in an HR Generalist profile.

Hello Priyanka,

As an HR Generalist, you should be aware of PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS compliances, minimum wages, etc. You should also be aware of the Shop & Establishment Act or Factory Act, depending on the industry you work in. You will gain knowledge once you start working on it practically. There are numerous laws and acts that you will learn through experience.
