Hello everyone,
I am a new member of this site and writing for the first time here. This site is really helpful for HR. I need your favor actually. I have to give a notice period of 15 days to one of our employees. We have given him lots of verbal warnings, but no written warning yet. Could anyone please send me a sample notice period for termination, mentioning 4-5 allegations as soon as possible?
Thanks,
Prachhaya Ranjan

Dear Prachhaya,
Please note, if you want to give 15 days' notice for termination of a contract, you need to provide a proper reason for termination along with appropriate backup documentation. You should not issue any termination of the contract until you have the necessary documents.

I have many reasons to terminate him with proper document which no one can deny...I only need the proper format

Why do you need a form? Just write a letter outlining the offenses and the action you intend to take. Not sure about Indian labor law, but you need to make sure you are following the correct procedure before you terminate an employee. Not following due process could cause you a lot of legal problems down the track.

Before terminating employees, they must be served with at least 3 showcase letters for their offenses. The type of decision taken by the management must also be in writing, with authorized signatures. Please refer to your company's standing order for disciplinary actions against different offenses and mistakes committed by employees.

Dear Prachhayaranjan,
You have provided incomplete details. Nobody can give proper advice based on the incomplete inputs. You have to provide the level and designation of the employee, as well as details about his role.
Why do you want to terminate him? What are the terms and conditions as envisaged in his appointment order? To give you correct advice, complete and correct details are required.
Warm Regards,

Hello, everyone. I think you all are right. I have to give a minimum of 3 showcases. So now we are going to do the same and have decided to give him a chance again to improve himself with a warning letter. He is an SEO Executive and a 3-year-old employee, so we have all the documents in which he made mistakes and also have some evidence of misbehavior.
Thank you so much, everyone, for giving me such nice advice, from which I am able to make a decision. I hope it will work in favor of our company and its employees too.
