Dear All,

I need help to create an increment policy, and I also want to establish some policies for discipline in the office. These include a late arrival policy, punctuality expectations, and the requirement for employees to inform their Team Leader when leaving their desks.

I have made several attempts to address these issues, but employees are still not arriving on time. I would appreciate suggestions on how to effectively manage this situation.

Thanks,
Neha Patel

Dear Ms. Neha and Ms. Jyotsna,

The policies are framed, adopted, and uniformly enforced by an establishment/organization in alignment with the professed and practiced mission, vision, and values of each establishment/organization.

Policies touch upon every area/domain of concern affecting a) creation of wealth and b) creation of well-being of all stakeholders including the community, government, and the like.

It is, therefore, expedient that due and diligent care (not casual or cavalier) is taken while wording the policy statement in each area of focus/theme/thrust for everyone to adhere to.

Drafting/framing these documents is a highly specialized and organization-centered/specific task/assignment that should be approached accordingly. Later, the same documents may be need-based altered.

Team Kritarth helps in this need.
