Dinesh DivekarDear Shallu,
The best training idea is ability to measure the effectiveness of the training. Therefore, be clear that what training programme that you conduct is immaterial but whether you measure the effectiveness of the training and how do you measure it is important.
Before executing any training programme, concentrate the following:
a) Customer Dissatisfaction
b) Operational failures
c) Report from Performance Appraisal of the employees
d) Organisational issues like conflict etc
e) Vision of your organisation like acquiring certification for ISO, six sigma etc.
f) Career Planning and Succession Planning of the employees
In addition to the above points, you need to identify and thereafter measure accurately the costs associated with your business. You need to address your training efforts to reduce these costs. Rest all is secondary.
