Sowmya Malla
Hello All,
I have organized several walk-in drives for fresher's, but organizing an experienced Walk-in drive especially for Dot net developers had been a challenge to me. I'm currently targeting certain paid and unpaid job portals but the response expected vs the actual candidates walk-in varied by greater extent. Kindly suggest me some tips or areas where I can focus for a right hire with the experienced walk-in.
Regards,
Sowmya

Sowmya,
i would suggest you to conduct walkin drive on saturdays,as many of software companies work 5 days a week, experienced job seekers will find time to attend only on saturdays.
Now a days,i dont think ppl have time to look for postings and then walk in.
Go for mass mails, use some tips like design a template in paint, some innovative idea, then pass it on to their mail id's.
before going to mass mails or mail merge refine your search by mandatory key skills.
like for dot net ,what are the exact skills your company is looking for.
WCF,WPF,C# first refine then send them across.
If u have access to mass messages in portals, u can send sms also.
