I have been working with an IT company that specializes in helping US customers with tech support. This company is fraudulent as they are not selling anything but still take money. After learning about the internal workings of the company, I planned to leave. However, my boss did not credit my salary after 40 days of hard work. They are refusing to pay the salary, claiming they want to penalize our department without valid reasons, asserting their power. They imply that we cannot take any action against them. There are 2-3 more people in my department facing the same issue. Please provide a solution that I can receive via email.

Thanks :)

See, there is a very simple way out. You can easily lodge a complaint with the Labor Inspector under the West Bengal Shops and Establishment Act, read along with the Payment of Wages Act. He must pay you salary at max within the 10th day of the next month.

Hi,

I was working with a startup in Bangalore. Last Sunday, they sent a message to everyone that from tomorrow, there is no need to come to the office. They will inform us when to come back. After that, they closed the company. My two months' salary is pending with them. When I asked for my salary, they asked me to wait until January.

What should I do? Should I wait or take legal action? If I decide to take legal action, what is the procedure?
