Hi all, I have a concern. Actually, I am working in an organization and I provided my UAN number. However, they are unable to link my PF account to the UAN number. They informed me that my previous employer did not mention my father's name, DOJ, DOE, and DoB. I worked for about 6 months in my previous organization, and I stated the DOJ from 2 months before my actual joining date at my current organization. Now, my present employer is struggling to link my UAN number with my current PF account and is asking me to request my previous employer to update the details in the portal.
What should I do? Will the correct DOJ appear to my current employer? I want to resolve this situation smoothly without any issues in my current job. Please suggest to me as soon as possible.

To file Form 13 online, visit the [Online Transfer Claim Portal](http://memberclaims.epfoservices.in/). Fill in the blank spaces accurately and submit for attestation by your previous employer. This process will facilitate the transfer of funds from your old employer ID to your present employer ID. Once your previous employer attests the form, your present employer will be able to link it.
Linking UAN and Transferring Funds
As far as linking the UAN is concerned, there are two aspects:
1. Linking of the UAN number
2. Transfer of funds from the previous to the present organization
If the problem is with linking the UAN number, tell your previous employer to fill out Annexure II and upload it to the portal. This will, in turn, reflect the details required for the present employer to link the UAN.
If funds are not transferred, then fill out Form 13 and obtain signatures from the previous employer. Submit it to the respective PF office.
To the best of my knowledge, this is correct. Please correct me if I am wrong.
