Hello, my name is Ravindra. Please accept this as a formal notice of my resignation from the position of Strategist-Digital Marketing. Due to my health problems, the doctor has advised me to rest full-time in order to fully recover from my illness. My family and I have decided that this would be the best option for me since I am in a delicate situation. This is not very easy for me, but I am proud and grateful to have been given such an experience. I am looking forward to your positive response regarding this matter. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Ravindra
Salary Issue
The company did not pay my 1.5-month salary.
Company's Reply
Ravindra, you resigned from the company on the 9th of April, and you last reported on the 14th of April. You have been absconding from the 15th of April without any information/permission. So, you did not even complete the notice period of 15 days, and without any handover, you went missing. I called you several times to come back and complete your notice period and give the proper handover, but you did not pay any heed to my request. Also, you have given us in writing that you shall not be eligible for any kind of compensation in case you resign within six months of your joining.

Clarification on Resignation and Salary Withholding
It is clear from the company's letter that they are well aware of your resignation effective from the 14th of April. Hence, their claim of absconding from the 15th is not tenable unless such resignation was rejected. If there was a notice period of 15 days, then you are liable to serve such notice period or pay the equivalent in lieu thereof.
Under no circumstances can the company withhold your salary for one and a half months. The question of not claiming any compensation within six months, even if you have given it in writing, does not hold any legal validity.
Please send a notice to the company seeking your outstanding salary and other dues, if any.
