If someone have 50000 gross salary & living in rental house & with same salary living in own house then how to calculate salary in both cases.
earnings: basic, da, hra, conv, special
deductiions: PF, PT, TDS?

Hi
You can consider Basic as 50% on the gross
HRA as 40% form the basic wages
1800 as Conveyance Allowances
1250 As medical Allowances
Rest as special allowances
As per the deductions we have to see whether that employee is covered under PF or not If yes then PF will be 1800
PT as per your state act (Hope 200PM & in the month of Mar 300 total 2500 PA)
TDS you can't determine only on salary. There are many other considerations such as Actual rent paid, savings, medical plans, hospitalisation etc
